2009-2010 Upward Bound Academy Schedule
SATURDAY CLASS PERIODS
Each student attends three class periods of 70 minutes: Reading/Writing Lab, Counseling, and Study Hall. During Study Hall tutors assist students with math and science assignments and homework. Tutoring in other subjects is provided as needed. All students are expected to take advantage of the tutoring offered during Study Hall. Students should bring an assignment to work on or something to read each Saturday. Tutoring helps students who may need remedial study as well as students who want to enhance their knowledge of course subjects even when they are making good grades. Intensive preparation to achieve high scores on the ACT is also provided in Study Hall.
